Kidney infection: This is a clear sign, the naked eye can see clearly in a few seconds

The cause of kidney infections

Usually, the disease originates from an infection in the lower urinary tract (in the bladder and urethra) and the bacteria proliferate and move upwards in the urine and cause kidney infections.

Although many bacteria and viruses can cause kidney infections, Escherichia coli bacteria are often the main cause.

Very rarely do you get an infection through your skin, bacteria go into your blood and move to your kidneys. You may have an infection after kidney surgery but this is also not common.

Signs of kidney infection

Frequent urination: If you are urinating many times but your urine does not increase more than usual (you are not pregnant or have diabetes), it may be a sign of kidney infection. When kidney tissues become infected, they become inflamed and stimulate the bladder more, thus making you urinate often.

Urine smells bad: Another silent sign of kidney infection is stinking urine. This smell will be very different from the normal smell of urine. This is because when the kidneys become infected, pus will be created in them, they flush through the urine causing urine to stink.

Pain during urination: When people, especially women, experience pain or burning sensation during urination, they mistakenly assume it is a symptom of urinary tract infection and ignore it. However, it can also be a symptom of kidney infection, kidney infection can cause urethritis and bladder, causing pain when urinating.

Back pain: Kidney infection is swollen, because the kidney is closer to the abdomen, causing pain in the lower back when the kidneys become inflamed and infected. This back pain is usually mild, so people ignore it. However, persistent back pain may indicate kidney infection and you need to be examined and treated early.
