The research was conducted on the 68000 by women scientists in Harward medical progress from 1989 to 2009.

2 year/residence times, participants were asked about health problems and daily habits. As of 2009, they were asked whether there was no hearing loss and if so any age.

The researchers said the 1/6 women reported suffering from hearing loss in the study period.

The results showed that only large BMI or waist circumference greater than average face the risk of hearing loss than women who are of normal weight.

People who are obese, with a BMI in the range from 30 to 39, hearing to lose 17-22% compared with women who have a BMI under 25. Fat women (BMI over 40) are at high risk for suffering from auditory disorders-higher than 25% compared with women with normal weight. Waist also visibly related with the risk of hearing loss.

At the suggestion of the researcher, the physical exercise can help reduce the risk of hearing loss. Women walk more than 4 hours/week off about 15% the risk of hearing loss than women who walked less than 1 hours/week.=
