This expert also knows that we can completely eat warmed rice, but the preservation process must be right. Because rice can contain spores of a bacterium called Bacillus cereus. These spores are likely to remain after the rice is cooked. When the rice is left at room temperature, the spores will grow into bacteria.
Bacteria multiply will produce toxins. If ingested, people will exhibit vomiting or diarrhea.
Leaving the rice cool outside, especially in hot and humid weather, bacteria will grow quickly and more. Therefore, it is advisable to put the rice in the refrigerator as soon as possible.

How to preserve cold rice
