Vinegar + lemon
Vinegar and lemon are two famous ingredients for antiseptic, deodorizing and killing bacteria very effectively.
Resources:
- 1.5 liters of water
- 1/2 cup of white vinegar or apple cider vinegar (about 150 ml)
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
Making:
- Step 1: Dissolve the prepared ingredients into the vegetable washing sink.
- Step 2: Soak vegetables and fruits in water in 10 - 15 minutes. Then rinse with water 2-3 times before use.
Turmeric
With strong antiseptic properties, turmeric can also be used to remove germs and pesticides on vegetables.

- 5 spoons of turmeric powder
- 1 pot of boiling water
Making:
- Step 1: Put 5 tablespoons of turmeric powder in a pot of boiling water and stir well. Then wait until the turmeric water cools.
- Step 2: Bring the fruits and vegetables to soak in the solution for about 10-15 minutes, then rinse with water and finish
Note
- To keep it safe to clean fruits and vegetables, always wash your hands before and after performing.
- Also, do not forget to clean the knife and cutting board.
