Ginger

Chili

Preserving sugar

Sugar is easy to be watery, lumpy, or be trapped if not preserved carefully. Cut a thin slice of lemon and place it on the lid or around the jar. Or you can cut a slice of bread and put it in a sugar jar, bread will absorb all the moisture in the sugar. As a result, sugar will never be lumpy.

Preserving salt

Like sugar, salt is easy to get wet, lumpy, watery. So, if you want to preserve salt, use a cloth bag, put some rice and put it in a salt jar. Rice is a very good moisture absorbent material.

Not only that, you can also use absorbent paper at the bottom of the salt jar to remove all the moisture in the bottle. So the salt will not get wet.
