Add more water
For soups, soups, and soups with lots of water that are unfortunately salty, the easiest way is to add water. A sufficient amount of water can neutralize the saltiness of the dish.
Use raw potatoes
Potatoes have the effect of absorbing the salty food very effectively. When the food is salty, you can use sliced potatoes to add to the cooked food at least 15 minutes before eating.
Use vinegar or fresh lemon juice
Just using a small amount of rice vinegar or fresh lemon juice will help neutralize the saltiness of the dish.
For foods where the ingredients contain milk, you must not use lemons to reduce the salty taste because under the effect of lemon, the milk will precipitate immediately.
Use tomatoes
If lemon or potato is not available, you can also use thick sliced tomatoes to add to the dish and soak in it for 15 to 20 minutes to reduce the salty taste of the dish. However, using tomatoes will not be effective by the above methods because the acidity of tomatoes is very mild.
Egg-white
For salty soups and soups, use chicken egg whites intact, not beaten and drop into the pot to boil for 5 minutes and then take out. With this method, the salty taste of the dish will be greatly absorbed.
Use yogurt without sugar
For dairy-based foods like cheese and whipped cream, you can use unsweetened yogurt to taste just enough to reduce the salty taste of the dish.
