5 foods that are often fake and the most accurate way to distinguish them within seconds

1. Turmeric powder

You only need to drop a few drops of Hidro chloride HCL into a test tube containing turmeric powder. Then observe, if the solution appears pink, purple or light purple, turmeric powder is a fake.

2. Fake rice

Take 1 pot of water, put rice in soak. Real rice will expand after a while and fake rice will not surface.

Experience of some small rice traders shows that real rice always has an outer covering (like bran). When the rice cover is coated, it will peel off.

In addition, when gripping the rice ball tightly, let go of many grains of rice still stick in the palm of your hand thanks to the coating. As for fake rice, due to the plastic, the water is still clear and less sticky in the palm.

3. Coffee

Sprinkle a small amount of coffee powder on the water in the cup. True coffee is still floating, while fake coffee made from chicory root powder will sink to the bottom and leave a stain.

4. Milk

- Put a drop of milk on the inclined plane. If the drop of milk leaves a white stain, this is a sign of whole milk. But if it leaves no color, this milk has been mixed.

- If the milk turns yellow when heated and leaves a bitter taste and a soap after drinking, there must be artificial substances mixed into it.

5. Chili powder

Real paprika is kind of insoluble in water. If you add it to the water, it will float up and won't be colored.

And if you put in water and see that chili powder dissolves into a red or orange solution, it is definitely a chilli powder that has been mixed and dyed.
