How to preserve at home

- Use soft cloth to wash away the knob because this is where bacteria and fungi invade the fruit, causing it to rot early.

- Use a cool fan to dry the fruit quickly within a few minutes.

- Pack fruit tightly in plastic bags and put in the refrigerator compartment about 15oC.

Store unripe mangoes in an open box, at room temperature

Room temperature storage helps unripe mangoes keep the delicious taste without being damaged too quickly. Storage boxes and clear plastic packaging help mangoes avoid damage and pests without obstructing the respiratory process of fruits.

Normally, mangoes will ripen within 8 days. Therefore, you can check the amount of mangoes preserved every 2 days to know the ripening status of the fruit.

Preserving frozen mangoes for a long time

If you want to eat mangoes at the end of the season, you can store them frozen by cutting them into small pieces and putting them in a ziploc bag.

Most people will peel mangoes when they are frozen. But in fact not necessary. You can leave the mango peel washed or peeled to your liking.

Put the mango in a ziploc bag, store in the refrigerator

After cutting into the ziloc bags, remove all air in the bag and tighten the bag. Next, put the bag in the freezer compartment in the horizontal position, not relying on the cabinet wall to avoid the risk of uneven mango.

Use frozen mangoes for 6 months

Frozen mangoes can be used for a period of 6 months. The first step after freezing mangoes is to allow them to thaw naturally or thaw in the microwave and enjoy in light meals.
