Using what is available in this kitchen turns the withered vegetables into fresh, many women have tried and succeeded

Usually, when the vegetables are exposed to sunlight, let the wind within a few hours begin to show signs of wilting. Although this vegetable does not affect health but when processed, it will not be delicious and beautiful.

Withered vegetables are because they are dehydrated, not rotten or spoiled. So as long as we add water, they can completely freshen up like the first time.

Use water to overnight

The method is very simple. You only need to cut the root about 2-3 cm, the same way we usually cut flower stems. Then, plug the root of the vegetable into a bowl of water, leaving it overnight. The next morning you will surely be surprised to see the miracle, the withered vegetables will become as green as freshly picked vegetables.

Soak the vegetables in ice water

Similar to the way cold water is, but using ice, you can make vegetables greener again. You just need to take a little water in the pot and put a lot of ice in. Then, bring the withered vegetable, do not need to cut the stem, soak in it for about 15 minutes and then take out. The water will quickly soak into the vegetables, which will quickly revitalize them.

Soak the vegetables in warm water

You only need to prepare a basin of warm water about 50 degrees. Then, you put the wilted vegetables into that pot and soak for about 1-2 minutes then take out and rinse with cold water. Vegetables will quickly turn green again. Note, this way you do not soak too long.

If you are not sure about the temperature of the water, you just need to divide the ratio of 1: 1, 1 cup of cold water is equivalent to 1 bowl of boiling water 100 degrees C, after neutralization we will get warm water about 50 degrees C .

Use water + sugar or lemon

This method is usually applied in flower arrangement, helping the flower to last longer. However, you can also use it to "revive" wilted vegetables.

Add a few tablespoons of sugar to the water and put the vegetables in it. They will quickly make the wilting bunch of vegetables become green.

Note: This method applies to vegetables withered by the sun and wind. If the vegetables have aged for a long time, are yellowing or rot, it is best to leave them to avoid eating unhealthy.

In addition, before putting in the fridge you should put vegetables into plastic bags and blow in one breath. Thus, the vegetables can be fresh longer, even 3, 4 days after you take them out, the vegetables are still fresh as the first day you bought them.
