Formaldehyde

Purpose/use: impurities generated from some chemical preservatives.

Purpose/use: foaming.

Propylene Glycol

Purpose/use: help the product retain water.

Avoid using as: increases the absorption capacity (changing the skin structure, allowing other chemicals easily seep into the circulatory system than the skin).

The products contains: skin care products, hair care, body care, makeup, child care products, contact lenses cleaning products.  The symbol on the product label: Propylene Glycol, Proptylene Glycol, Propanediol-1.2. Synthetic substances related: PEG (polyethylene glycol) and PPG (polypropylene glycol).

Quaterium-15

Are preservatives in cosmetics. In certain conditions, it can create formandehyde (a human carcinogen).

Triclosan

This is an antibacterial chemicals, has the chemical formula just like Agent Orange. It is suspected the chemical causes cancer in humans.

Paraben
