Harvard University points out 5 tips to help extend life, everyone should apply

A study by scientists at Harvard University (USA) shows that the key to long, healthy life comes from the daily living habits of people.

The research results list 5 habits that affect human life expectancy. They are: No smoking; Maintain a healthy body mass index, reasonable weight; Avoid excessive alcohol consumption; Exercise moderate to high intensity; Healthy diet.

According to the research results, if women follow all 5 habits above, can increase 10 years to live healthier, no disease, while men can increase by 8 years.

In an earlier study, it was found that women in their 50s who completed these five habits could increase life expectancy by 12 years, while men by 12 years.

No smoking

Tobacco use is a leading cause of a dramatic decline in the respiratory system, which can lead to serious illnesses such as lung cancer. 7-8 years longer life than smokers.

Maintain a healthy weight

A balanced body, not malnourished or fat will help you live longer. Harvard University found that those who achieved a BMI between 18.5 and 24.9 were less likely to die earlier.

Exercise regularly

The training does not need to be too heavy. You can do light exercise by walking, jogging 30 minutes / day. Regular exercise not only helps maintain a healthy body, increase life expectancy, but also contribute to improving memory, mood and learning ability.

Limit drinking beer and wine
